One of the things my mother and I shared is a love of flowers. One of our favorites was lilacs. Mom is no longer here to celebrate birthdays with me but every time I see a beautiful lilac, I get a smile on my face and know she is enjoying them with me. I miss you, Mom.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Darrah. We used to have a row of them along the back boundary to the yard where I grew up. I miss having a yard that I can have a flower garden and a hedge of lilac bushes. When you take that photo, be sure to share with me.
