My Friend

Well, there is nothing like a little excitement to keep the heart pumping!  Sometime around 5 p.m., I was reclining in the chair watching The Rifleman (yes, I still like the Rifleman!) when all of a sudden the fire alarms in the building started piercing my eardrums!  Hallway doors automatically shut and tenants came out the of their apartments asking what's going on.  I did not have an answer but I know when there's a fire alarm, you're supposed to leave the building and wait for the all clear from the firemen who have come to our rescue.  Fortunately, it was not a fire but something to do with the sprinkler system.
