The Wacky Watercooler July 2015 Blog Hop

Hello everyone!  Welcome to this edition of the Wacky Watercooler July 2015 Blog Hop!  This month we are sharing a "Christmas in July" project along with an Annual Catalog CASE project and a project that shows off some of the new punches.  So, hang on to your seats, because I know you are going to be amazed!  :-)

For my Christmas in July project, I used the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and the matching Wonderful Wreath Framelits DiesKaren Huber, a friend and fellow Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator from Ohio, came for a visit over the July 4th weekend and brought some stamps and dies with her that I don't yet have.  I stamped several of the wreath images and bows so I could use them in future projects.  Thanks, Karen!

Stamp Sets:  Hardwood, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Wondrous Wreath; Inks:  Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Real Red, Sahara Sand; Card Stock:  Real Red, Whisper White; Accessories & Tools:  Triple Banner Punch, Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Glue Dots, Stampin' Trimmer, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine

My second project is a CASE from page 20 of the Annual Catalog.  I searched everywhere for my paper doilies but they were not to be found so, I simply used the Very Vanilla Thick Baker's Twine and tied a bow.  This is another stamp set borrowed from Karen and this one she left with me so I would play around with it at my leisure.

Stamp Sets:  Flowering Flourishes, Wetlands (sentiment); Inks:  Soft Suede, Wild Wasabi; Card Stock:  Soft Sky, Whisper White, Whisper White Thick; Accessories & Tools:  Very Vanilla Thick Baker's Twine, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Glue Dots, Stampin' Trimmer

My next project uses the the Sprinkles of Life stamp set and the new Tree Builder Punch.  My card is also fashioned after one I saw this morning on Leonie Schroder's blog.  (You can click on her name to see her card.)  Mine is just a wee bit different but I loved the simplicity of it.

Stamp Set:  Sprinkles of Life; Inks:  Real Red, Soft Sky, Soft Suede, Wild Wasabi; Card Stock:  Marina Mist, Whisper White, Whisper White Thick; Accessories & Tools:  Tree Builder Punch, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Trimmer

  4. Isn't it wonderful when friends come for a visit and bring stamps, especially ones you don't have! Your Wondrous Wreath card is very lovely. I like the wood banner behind the wreath. Your cased card is very serene. Who needs a doily when the thick baker's twine divides those two sections of the card. Great substitute. And finally Marsha I really like your Sprinkles of Life card. The Marina Mist mat really adds a nice element. TFS.
