Bright Spring Flowers

As you know I really love combining two challenges together and today, Color Throwdown and Freshly Made Sketches came together wonderfully.  Even if I do say so myself.  :-)

The flowers are made from felt and while it is not showing well in the photo, the white flower layer is actually glitter felt so there is a little sparkle to the flowers.  In the center I added a Silver Mini Brad.  They are cut using the Petal Pop-Ups 2 Dies from Taylored Expressions.

The sentiment layer was cut using the Build a Scene - Calendar Dies which is also from Taylored Expressions.  The line of Old Olive is the little picket fence that comes in that set of dies.  I cut out four of them to get the width and height I needed for that layer.  The sentiment is from the Rose Wonder stamp set and stamped using Basic Black Archival ink.

And there you have it.  A bright, cheerful clean and simple card that shouts of the flowers of Spring.

The colors I used are from the Color Throwdown Challenge.

The sketch I used is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.
