Pretty Pink Butterfly

It feels good to be back in the create mode.  So many things have been going on for me that I've not had a lot of time to be in the craft room.  And, it's good to be back participating in some of my favorite challenges as well as some new ones.  For today's card, I've combined the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and the colors from Stampin' Royalty.  I've kept it very clean and simple.  As usual, I needed another birthday card.

On a white card base I added two die cuts made using the Build a Scene - Calendar Dies from Taylored Expressions.  One is in Marina Mist and the other is Wisteria Wonder.  The top butterfly is from the Nature's Perfection stamp set and stamped using Blushing Bride ink then, punched using the Elegant Butterfly Punch.  The bottom butterfly was punched out of Blushing Bride card stock using the Elegant Butterfly Punch.  I added a row of Pearl Basic Jewels to the body of the butterfly as well as to the bottom right of the sentiment.  The sentiment is from the Rose Wonder stamp set and stamped using Basic Black Archival ink.  What you can't see is the Clear Wink of Stella with which I covered both butterflies.  I love the Wink of Stella Brush and use it often, it is just very difficult for me to photograph.

The sketch I used is from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.
