Thanks So Much

You know, sometimes I just don't read all the important stuff.  I added a deeper lavender to my card.  Yes, you're right, there is no such thing as a deeper lavender.  Sigh!  I still thinks it pretty and I'll still enter it in the challenge but next time I'll be just a little more careful as I read the instructions to a challenge.

For the card base, I used Wisteria Wonder.  Under the layer of Whisper White I added a hint of Elegant Eggplant.  The Whisper White is stamped using the flowers from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set.  I used Calypso Coral and stamped off one time to give it a lighter look.  The sentiment is from the Simply Sketched stamp set and I stamped it with a full load of Calypso Coral so it would stand out more.  I added a layer of Elegant Eggplant and attached the flower using a Dimensional.  The flowers were punched using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack flower, the Petite Petals Punch and the Pansy Punch.  I love how the Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral look together and the way the flower pops against the dark background.  The center of the flower is a 1/8" Mini Silver Brad.  For the finishing touch, I added several Pearl Basic Jewels

The sketch I used is from the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge.

The colors I used are from the Just Us Girls Challenge.

  1. Oh heck...just call the elegant eggplant a neutral and you're good right? lol
Wonderful card Miss Marsha. Super job on the sketch and the color challenges. You always put in such nice touches that add a nice dimensional touch to the design.

    1. Thanks, Jean. Since Elegant Eggplant is a go to color for me, it might as well be a neutral.
