Yesterday I shared a scrapbook page I made of my granddaughter. Well, technically she's not a scrapbook page but her photos now are one. I think it only fair that I give equal time to her brother. Again, I took a baby photo and current school picture and made a scrapbook page using My Digital Studio. Devin is now 12 and, being the oldest of three, quite the responsible one.
Be sure to browse through the Sale-A-Bration Last Call Blog Hop where you'll find many fantastic projects. Just click on the tab in the menu bar at the top of the page.
It's time for me to to get back to cleaning things up for tonight. My oldest son, Wayne, and his youngest son, Gage, are coming over for homemade pizza. I don't get to see Gage very often so I'm plan to take a few pictures and make some new pages for my scrapbook.

"Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin' Into the future"
Part of the lyrics from the song Fly Like an Eagle by the Steve Miller Band is how I feel about those precious grandchildren of mine. They are all growing up so fast. School pictures are a great way of watching them slip into that future. The scrapbook page below was made using My Digital Studio. It's my youngest granddaughter as a baby on the left and as a sweet little nine year old on the right. She is definitely one of a kind!
You know, I think it's time she and I had an all girl weekend together. Shopping, lunch out and crafting together. She is quite a little artist and I know she will love some of the new things I've acquired since her last visit. I think it's time I introduced her to some Twinkling H2O.

It's a Work in Progress
Yesterday our local scrapbook store had a free Beginner's Scrapbooking class so I decided to take in the action. It's been many, many years since I last did any scrap booking and I wanted to revisit the basics. It was an excellent class. Janet was informative, articulate and so very helpful. It was a small class and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I have long been wanting to get the photos I took on my very first vacation ever into a scrapbook. The photos are old and mostly black and white. Hmm? Does that tell you anything about me? To give you just a bit of back story, my grandmother took me on a month long vacation that started in Iowa, of course since that's where we lived, trailed west into numerous states and north into Canada and culminated in California to visit her brother and his family. Then, we meandered on back towards Iowa. It was fantastic and something that I have never forgotten. I was only 16 at the time and had never been out of the state. Grandma sparked my interest in so many things with that first taste of the world.

At the class, we were able to select three colors to work with and coordinated with the colors in our photos. As you can see, I chose brown, cream and blue.
I can't wait to get the rest the photos all done. It's a work in progress and a labor of love. Oh, and just so you know and in case you are curious, this is what Old Faithful looked like back in 1966!

A Very Proud Grandma!
My oldest granddaughter, Bailey, posted this picture to Facebook so I copied it so I could make a scrapbook page using My Digital Studio. Although I don't know her well, she stole a little piece of my heart from the moment I first laid eyes on her when she was just a wee babe.

There's tired and there's really tired!
I just had to share this picture with you. As I've mentioned before, I watch my little two year old grandson week days while Mom and Dad both work. The other day, while watching one of his favorite movies (Robots), he brought his blanket (which goes everywhere with him) to me and said, "Wrap me, Grandma." I wrapped him up, he walked over to the sofa, leaned over and crashed. I mean he was out! It was definitely one of those Kodak moments.
The background is from Well Worn Designer Series Paper and one of my favorites. I'm so glad it is still available in My Digital Studio (MDS). The other colors used are Midnight Muse and Barely Banana (another color only available in MDS). I adjusted the opacity of the Barely Banana to give it a softer look.
I love how easy it is to put together a scrapbook page using My Digital Studio (MDS). Since I didn't get pictures taken of my new cards, MDS and my grandson made it quick and easy to come up with a new page for my album.

My Grandchildren Scrapbook Page
Here is another page from the scrapbook I'm putting together of my grandchildren. I have nine shown on this page. Would you believe I have a twenty-one year old? Well, I do. I know, I find it hard to believe sometimes, too. The scrapbook is one that has the layout done and all you do is add the pictures. So easy and a quick way to get all my pictures in albums. You can try the new MDS2, free, for 30 days. Just go to my online store for more details.
It's a short post today as I'm working on my projects for our next Llama Blog Hop which starts this Thursday. Stay turned for further details.

My Digital Studio Family Album
Recently, I've been working on a photo album of my grandchildren. My Digital Studio (MDS) is making that work so much easier. The biggest chore is scanning all of my photos to the computer. Such hard work, right? Here is the album cover I designed using one of the templates found in MDS.
As I continue to work on other pages, I'll share them with you as they are done. My Digital Studio is an easy program to learn and once you give it a try, you'll be hooked, too. The 30-day Free trial is an ongoing offer, so give it a try today.

Mother & Son
Today I've been working on my July Newsletter so haven't been online much and it has kept me away from the craft table. So, needing a break from the Newsletter, I opened up My Digital Studio (MDS) and design ed this very simple scrapbook page. My mother and my oldest brother are both dancing with the angels but they are ever in my heart.
Be sure to take advantage of our FREE 30-day trial of My Digital Studio Express. Just go to my online store and download the software to access the free trial. Nic's Graduation Day
Last Friday my five year old grandson, Nic, graduated from preschool. He is such a character. He loves to talk and he tells such great stories. He loves school and is looking forward to starting Kindergarten this fall. He is growing way too fast!
With a digital camera and My Digital Studio (MDS), it is so easy to take a picture and design a scrapbook page while the event is still fresh in your mind. I'm so glad I took advantage of Stampin' Up!'s® 30-Day Free Trial of MDS. You can, too. Just visit my online store by clicking the coffee pot at the upper right.
Tonight I'll be working on some new cards. I've committed to a couple of swaps and there is a new Llama Blog Hop scheduled for next month. Along with all of that, I plan to be at the Crafters' Gift Boutique on Saturday. My summer is shaping up to be busy, busy, busy!

Today's My Digital Stuido Creation
With the way my days have lined up lately, I've not had a chance to get to the craft room and get my hands on paper. When I sit down for a break, I open up My Digital Studio and make another page for my scrapbook. It lets me stay creative even when I can't get my fingers into the ink.
Most days I watch my youngest grandson, Aiden, and I've been doing that for over a year now. He is quite the little character. Now that he is an active two-year-old, he really keeps me busy. The picture I used for the following page was taken shortly after he started walking. One of his favorite things to do is chew on his toys. Here is one I captured during his teething days. He has changed a lot since that was taken. My little man is growing up way too fast!
Stamp Set: Sprinkled Expressions (Sale-A-Bration); Inks: Crushed Curry, Brilliant Blue, Very Vanilla; Card Stock: Sweet Details Designer Series Paper, Brilliant Blue, Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla; Accessories & Tools: Scallop Circle Punch, 1/4" Crushed Curry Grosgrain Ribbon
It's Friday, so I'm taking the night off. I have my All Occasion Card Class tomorrow so I'm going easy on myself tonight and watching a movie.
Until we meet again...
