WWC310 - Marsha's Challenge: All About Occasions

The Watercooler Wednesday Challenge is making a transition from a weekly challenge to a bi-weekly challenge beginning with this challenge.  Going forward, there will be two challenges a month and we will be keeping to the current themes for our challenges.  Don't worry, we'll remind you as we go along.

This week I'm hosting our All About Occasions challenge.  I needed another birthday card, so, with my limited supplies, this is what I came up with.  Funny thing is, this is not the card I intended to make.  But, Sunday, my son and his wife came over to help me go through totes and get more stuff put away.  All of my craft stuff was put in the closet still in totes and I once again don't have a clue where anything is.  I know, some day soon it will all be in a place where I can find it easily.  I have a dream!

WWC309 - Dawn's Challenge: Anything Masculine Goes

It's been so cold here in Iowa that I've gladly stayed inside my cozy little apartment.  I will admit that I am tired of the site of totes that still need unpacked.  Of course, being distracted by these cute little snowmen may be one of the reasons I'm so slow getting the unpacking done.

Our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week is our masculine challenge.  I thought these sweet snowmen would make a perfect card for one of my grandsons.

WWC308 - Tristan's Challenge: All About Occasions

Well, sometimes things just don't go as planned. Since I've moved, I can't seem to get myself in gear to remember anything that I should.  Today my post for the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge is so very late, but you probably wouldn't have known that unless I pointed it out to you, which I just did.  As for the day, it's a beautiful, sunny day that is frigid.  I'm not going out in the cold until I absolutely need to do so.

Tristan is host for our All About Occasions challenge this week.  I am still in the process of getting stuff out of totes and placed where they need to be in my apartment.  I came across some pieces that were already colored and cutout so I put them all together and came up with this sympathy card.  I love using up my scraps.

WWC307 - Heidi's Challenge: Anything Feminine Goes

Given the fact that the vast majority of my craft supplies still reside in totes, I was able to make this simple heart filled card from what supplies I could find.  A few scraps of patterned paper, some sequins and a wee bit of glue and this is what I made.  It could be a Valentine, anniversary or simply a thinking of you card.

Well, the move is complete.  The train ride was wonderful.  Seeing my youngest granddaughter for the first time was a joy.  She is so precious.  Now it's time to get all of those totes unpacked and my house in order. I have a very cute little apartment and am having so much fun furnishing it.
