Thankful for You

When I first saw this sketch, I couldn't make up my mind what to do with it.  I know, how hard can it be!  :-)  What I did was dig out of couple of older stamp sets and this is the result.  It's a single layer, clean and simple card that, I think, is so pretty in it's simplicity.

The card base is Whisper White.  The flower and stem images are from the Nature's Perfection stamp set that was in the 2015 Sale-A-Bration Brochure.  The sentiment is from the Good Greetings stamp set from 2014.  All are stamped using Mossy Meadow.  Then, I colored the little flowers with using Stampin' Write Markers in Delightful Daffodil and Calypso Coral.  And that was it.

The sketch I used is from the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge.  It made for a very pretty clean and simple card.

A Day of Remembrance

Today I'm taking the time to honor all of our Veterans; those who are serving, those who have served and those who have died in service to our country.  I am thankful for each and every one of you.  May those who have seen the horrors of war find peace.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
