Today's card uses the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Sheets which is one of the new Sale-A-Bration products. I love it! There is so much you can do with it. Before I glued it to the So Saffron card base, I flipped it over and burnished some of the design. When you do that, it turns the vellum white and makes for a very pretty look. The butterflies are from the new Nature's Perfection Stamp Set, also a new Sale-A-Bration product. I stamped them on vellum using StazOn, flipped them over and colored them using my Stampin' Write Markers to mirror the colors from the inspiration photo. I popped them up with dimensionals.
Stamp Sets: Butterfly Basics (sentiment), Nature's Perfection; Ink: StazOn Black; Stampin' Write Markers: Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, Rose Red, Wild Wasabi; Card Stock: Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Sheets, So Saffron, Vellum; Accessories & Tools: Elegant Butterfly Punch, Pearl Basic Jewels, Adhesive Sheets (Scrapbook Adhesives), Dimensionals, Stampin' Pierce Mat, Simply Scored Stylus

DeleteWow! Looks like you incorporated more from the inspiration than you realized. Look at those lovely lines on the flowers! Your vellum effect is really interesting. I think I need a tutorial to understand what you did though, lol. The butterflies are perfect. Thanks for accepting my challenge, Marsha!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bev! I love this new vellum!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Buffy! It turned out better than I expected.
DeleteHi Marsha, wonderful card with such nice, bright colours from the inspirational photo. I have to get one of those SAB stamp sets now that I've seen it in action. I have the vellum stack so I'm halfway to being able to CASE your inspirational card.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heidi! I love the vellum stack. I'm hoping they will give us more in upcoming catalogs!
DeleteVery lovely card. I am getting some of that vellum this week and can't wait.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kath! It's more versatile than I thought it would be. I love it!
