Mixed Bunch Graduation

I don't know about you, but I'm already getting invitations to graduations.  Of course, that could be because most of them are only a month away.  I'm going to add a Top Note pocket to the inside that will hold either cash or gift card.  Just change the sentiment and this card would make a nice Mother's Day Card.

Stamp Sets:  Mixed Bunch, Teeny Tiny Wishes; Inks:  Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder, Calypso Coral; Card Stock:  Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White; Accessories & Tools:  Blossom Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals

There you have it; a card with many possibilities.

It's Raining

Well, I'm sorry to have to say it's been another day of let's just be a slug and get nothing done.  I really hope this goes away soon and I feel like doing cartwheels again.  I found a picture that matches my mood and am sharing it with you since I've not made anything lately.  It is actually raining as I'm writing this post and getting dark and just plain gloomy.  Yup... definitely matches my mood.  Now I'm off to watch "The Rifleman" on MeTV.  I love watching the programs that were on when I was growing up.

Until we meet again...

The Three Things I Love Most About Being A Stamping Business Owner

It would be so easy to keep you here all day talking about the many reasons I love being a stamping business owner.  But, I'll rein in my enthusiasm and just give you the three big ones.

1.  I love being my own boss.  I get to set my own hours.  I get to work when I want, which tends to be most of the time, but I know that should the need arise, I can be very flexible.

2.  I love being a Creative Coach.  I love helping others explore their own creativity.  There is great satisfaction and seeing someone's face light up when they realize they have made a beautiful card.

3.  I love the freedom of spending more time with my family.  Being an Independent Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator gives me the opportunity to work around my family's schedules.  I love being able to spend time with my grandchildren.

If you'd like to be your own boss and enjoy all these perks and more, contact me and let me show you how.  It's your first step to becoming a stamping business owner.

Until we meet again...

Daring Adventure Graduation

With this week so full of birthdays, I needed a short break from birthday cards so I decided to create a graduation card.  I know, it's only January, but it never hurts to think ahead. Daring Adventure jumped out at me and said, "use me!"  It's found on page 145 in the Idea Book & Catalog.  It quotes one of those people I most admire, Helen Keller.  She overcame great obstacles and what better way to let your graduate know that a whole new world awaits them.

Stamp Sets:  Daring Adventure, Teeny Tiny Wishes; Ink:  Soft Suede; Card Stock:  Naturals White, Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, Calypso Coral, Soft Suede; Accessories:  Boho Blossoms Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, Jewels Basic Pearls, White Baker's Twine, Stampin' Dimensionals

The quote from Helen Keller, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing," is stamped on the inside of the card.  Because I hand stitched the zigzag on the front of the card, the ugly part of the stitching was visible when the card was opened.  To cover it up, I attached a matching piece of the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Now it's on to more Valentine cards.  I have some really cute 3 x 3 cards I'm making and I'll share those at a later time.

Until we meet again...

Occasions Mini Catalog Is Here!

I'm so excited!  Now I get to share all the great new product from the Occasions Mini Catalog with you!  I know, I've been sharing  projects with you made with the new product but wasn't able to show you the actual product.  Now I can and you are going to love them!

I can tell you that one of my favorites is the new Framelits.  There is the Hearts Collection and the Labels Collection.  And, there are stamp sets to go along with them.  Oh, and the new Designer Series Papers and Edgelits Dies and Pleated Ribbon and Scented Stampin' Emboss Powder!  Oh my, there are just so many great new products that I just don't have time to list them all.

Be sure to check back often this week as I'm going to be posting the Cafe's new Events Schedule and I've added a couple of new classes.  You just aren't going to want to miss any of it!

So, with that, I'm going to go play with some more of my new Occasions Mini Catalog product.  If you don't have your catalog, let me know and I'll be sure to get one to you.

Blessings from Marsha
