Here is this weeks'
Color Me Beautiful Challenge. I needed to take a break from finishing up an order for journals so I played with the colors we were given. I don't use a lot of pink but I do like the way this one looks. To check out the Color Me Beautiful Blog, just click on the first photo.
To start, here is the color challenge they gave us. I love how they present them and they are always so pretty. I had to use at least three of the colors and the only color I didn't use this time was the Basic Gray. I've used that color so much lately, that I don't have any of it left. Guess it's time to order some more as it seems to be popping up a lot in challenges and such.
This is the card I created for this challenge. As you can see, I love flowers. I make a lot of flowers as well as stamp a lot of flowers. I miss the flower garden I once had. I always had fresh cut flowers all over the house. Now I get to make paper ones that will last longer. It's a good substitute.
Stamp Set(s): Trust God, Language of Friendship;
Ink(s): Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke;
Card Stock: Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette;
Accessories & Tools: Little Leaves Sizzlits, Boho Blossoms Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Dazzling Details, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Crystal Effects
For the vase, I made a circle and trimmed one edge off to give me a straight line. Yes, I know, the bottom is round so the vase will roll but... it sets in a wrought iron wire hanging basket! :-)
