CAS(E) this Sketch 94 and ColourQ 260

Ever have one of those days when you know what you should be doing but you are avoiding and doing what you want to do?  Well, that's my day for you.  I have a mile long list of things I need to do and here I am making cards.  Maybe that is the beauty of retirement.  You make your list, then ignore it to have some fun.  At least there is nothing earth shattering on my list.  One of the things I've found about making lists, if you don't get it done today put it at the top of tomorrow's list.  You'd be surprised at how quickly you do get all things done.  Now on to the card I made for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge and the ColourQ challenge.

Stamp Sets:  Four You, Work of Art; Inks:  Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Tangerine Tango; Card Stock:  Crumb Cake, Whisper White; Accessories & Tools:  Star Jewels (Doodlebug Design), SNAIL Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Trimmer
All Stampin' Up!® Product unless otherwise noted.

The CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge can be found HERE.

Freshly Made Sketches 150

It has been a really busy week and a very hot one.  Top that off with a few days where I wasn't feeling as well as I should and you have me waiting until the last minute to get my card made for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  I just loved the simplicity of this sketch and anything with flowers gets my attention.

I just have time for a short post before heading over to my neighbor's for a visit.  Bill just got home today from the hospital after taking a fall at home.  Nothing broken, for which everyone is very thankful.  And, no, this card is not for him.  I've got a different one all ready to take over to him.

Just Add Ink 226

It's a short post for you today but I wanted to share the card I made for the Just Add Ink Challenge this week.  I loved the simplicity of this sketch.  Given how early in the morning it was when I made my card, it's a good thing it was an easy one to put together.  I think my eyes are crossing!

All the Stampin' Up! Product used is noted below.  The paper doily is from Bo Bunny.

The sketch can be found HERE at Just Add Ink.

Work of Art Hello

Would you believe I've found a new challenge?  Well, the Just Add Ink Challenge Blog is new to me.  As you know I love challenges.  They are a wonderful way to keep the creativity flowing.  So, since it's late in my part of the world, I'm going to keep this post very short.

Stamp Sets:  Four You, Work of Art; Inks:  Smoky Slate, Tuxedo Black, So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker; Card Stock:  So Saffron, Whisper White; Accessories & Tools:  Black Enamel Accents (Ranger). SNAIL Adhesive
All Stampin' Up!® Product unless otherwise noted.

What surprises me is that my photo turned out better then expected.  My computer won't accept the software for my digital camera, so I can't transfer my photos from my camera to my computer.  For my first time using my cell phone camera, I don't think I did too bad.  :-)

Be sure to check out the Just Add Ink Challenge Blog HERE.

Hello

With my supply of Designer Series Paper so limited and the fact that  my order won't be here for a few days, I decided to simply stamp the images.  I haven't used my Tempting Turquoise for quite some time and thought it would be perfect for the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.  I kept it very clean and very simple.

Stamp Sets:  Four You, Work of Art; Inks:  Baked Brown Sugar, Tempting Turquoise; Card Stock:  Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise; Accessories & Tools:  1-3/4" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine
All Stampin' Up!® Product unless otherwise noted.

You still have time to play along, too.  You can find all the challenge details on the Freshly Made Sketches blog HERE.

I didn't want to sponge around my circle so I punched a scalloped circle out of Tempting Turquoise card stock and added it under the white circle.  You can see just a bit of color peeking out around the circle.

Four You Thank You

Catchy title, huh?  Just kidding.  Actually, the thank you is from the Four You stamp set from Stampin' Up!®  As much as I would like to attach a special name to each of my cards, I do run out of names.  Then again, would you consider a name special no matter what it is?

The other day I received a very cool card in the mail from Kim Glover.  I've been participating in a swap with a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators for that last few months and have gotten some very nice cards.  I plan to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) several of them.  I needed another thank you card and thought this would be a perfect one for a guy.  I changed mine up just a wee bit and used different colors and I do like how this turned out.

Stamp Sets:  Four You, God's Blessings (retired) Gorgeous Grunge, Work of Art; Inks:  Baked Brown Sugar, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate; Card Stock:  Smoky Slate, Whisper White; Accessories & Tools:  Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Simply Scored Diagonal Plate, Baked Brown Sugar Sequins, Tombo Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Kinda Eclectic Hello

With my ten year old granddaughter, Mariah, visiting for a few days, I've not had many chances to get into my craft studio.  She does well entertaining herself but I love doing things with her when she is here.  We spent yesterday afternoon putting together some past Paper Pumpkin kits and she had a ball.  She is quite creative and has many very cool ideas.  I did manage to sneak in a little solo creating last night and this is the card I made for Freshly Made Sketches.

Stamp Sets:  Four You, Kinda Eclectic; Inks:  Blackberry Bliss, Crisp Cantaloupe; Card Stock:  Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White; Accessories & Tools:  Blossom Punch, Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Dimensionals
All Stampin' Up!® Product unless otherwise noted.

You can find the details for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge HERE.

Thinking of You in Shades of Purple

My sister, Terri, loves purple.  She lives in Wisconsin so we don't get to see each other often.  We talk or text on the phone whenever we can.  I was thinking of her today so made her this card using the color challenge I found at The Paper Players.  It's monochromatic although it's hard to see the three different colors I used.  The map is from the Map It Out photoplymer set from Stampin' Up!® and was stamped using Perfect Plum, the little hearts with Elegant Eggplant, the sentiment and borders with Wisteria Wonder.  There is a very small border of gingham checked paper behind the white but it's hard to see as well.  It matches the little heart I punched and added to the lower right.

Stamp Sets:  Map It Out, Gorgeous Grunge, Four You; Inks:  Perfect Plum, Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant Stampin' Write Marker; Card Stock:  Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White, Gingham Paper Pad (Creative Imaginations); Accessories & Tools:  Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack Heart, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Dimensionals
All Stampin' Up!® Product unless otherwise noted.

HERE is where you can find all the challenge details for The Paper Players Clean and Simple challenge with a Monochromatic theme.
