Watercooler Wednesday Challenges #66

This week at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges, Libby has offered up a great sketch for us to use for our challenge.  I enjoy sketch challenges as I never know what is going to happen once I start creating.  I always follow the sketch but sometimes unexpected things just happen, like the pretty little blue flowers.

For the card base, I used Crumb Cake and added two strips from the Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper that just retired from Sale-A-Bration.  The patterns are the reverse of each other; swirls on one side and gradations of color on the other.  The oval was cut from Very Vanilla using the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies.  The sentiment is from the Rose Wonder stamp set and stamped using Soft Suede ink.  For those cute little flowers, I used the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  The flowers are punched from Marina MistPearl Basic Jewels are the finishing touch.

  1. Marsha I really like the DSP you've added to this card. It made me go back and look at my package. And that pop of blue in the flowers just makes this card. Thanks for sharing.
