The Friday Mashup Challenge #209

It's coming down to the wire and I finally got my card made for The Friday Mashup!  For this challenge, we could make a project using the colors of Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Night of Navy or create a project for "Celebrations" or create a project that put them all together for a mashup!  I love to mash it up!

Since I'm headed out to sing in the rain while I run some errands, this is going to be a short post simply to share my card with you.  I really like how this turned out.  I didn't need any more graduation cards at this time since everyone has already ordered them but I do need three Father's Day cards for my boys.  This one will be headed to my oldest son who is overseas at this time.  I regularly send him cards but I like to keep them very simple with minimal embellishments.  This one will be perfect.  Now I only need to come up with cards for the two sons who live close by.

Stamp Sets:  Best Day Ever (retired), Build a Bouquet (retiring), Crazy about You, Gorgeous Grunge; Inks:  Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Night of Navy; Card Stock:  Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy, Whisper White; Accessories & Tools:  Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim, Snail Adhesive, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals, Stampin' Trimmer

The colors and theme are from The Friday Mashup Challenge.

  1. Hi Marsha, love, love, love your Father's Day card! Yay! Mine is no longer the only one for this challenge. (Big sigh of relief!) Isn't it wonderful how that Build a Bouquet flower works so well as fireworks? I love it and hate that it's retiring. So versatile! I'm sure your oldest will love the card---it's gorgeous! Why not make the same one for all three? Or two other with slight variations to keep it interesting?

    1. Thanks, Heidi! I didn't need any more graduation cards so I focused on Father's Day since I needed three cards for my boys.

    1. Thanks, Any! It was fun just to pick a stamp and start stamping. Now that is something I don't normally do. :-)
