Hey! Hey! Hey! It's time for another Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop. This time we are doing The September Mix-Up! You'll see projects that feature product from the Annual Catalog and the Holiday Catalog. So hang on to your seats as the fifteen hoppers wow your socks off!
For my first project, I used the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies. I love this set. I CASEd the design from Diana Carr but changed up the colors and the card stock. I took the photo at night without benefit of my light tent so the white looks vanilla. It really is white.
Stamp Set: Wondrous Wreath; Inks: Cucumber Crush, Melon Mambo; Card Stock: Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Whisper White Thick; Accessories & Tools: Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Dimensionals, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Trimmer, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine. All Stampin' Up!® product unless otherwise noted.
For this card, I used the new Happy Scenes stamp set and the Hearth & Home Framelits Dies. I love making scenes viewed through the window.
Stamp Sets: Happy Scenes, White Christmas (bird); Inks: Basic Black Archival, Basic Gray, Crushed Curry (bird beak), Real Red; Card Stock: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Whisper White; Accessories & Tools: Hearth & Home Framelits Dies, 5/8" Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Dazzling Details, Glue Dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, SNAIL Permanent Adhesive, Stampin' Trimmer, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine. All Stampin' Up!® unless otherwise noted.
Woo! Hoo! My third project took just a wee bit longer than expected given the fact I had company show up at my door. I have to say I love that Reason for the Season stamp set. And, while not an advocate of the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, now that I've used them, I think I'm loving them. So, without further ado, here it is!
Next on our blog hop is the ever talented Penny Hanuszak. She always offers up such great projects.

Thanks, Gail! Black and white is a favorite of mine. Oh, and let's not forget the trees. :-)Delete
What wonderful projects Marsha. You've really showcased some great stamps and products. I absolutely love your final card. The tag and poinsettia are so beautiful and I love that dsp in the background. Thanks for sharing!ReplyDelete
Thank you, Penny! It turned out better than I expected. I did make several changes and had to keep taking it's picture and changing it in the post. LOL I finally said this is it!Delete
Cool set of projects Miss Marsha. Love the elegant black and red color theme of the window set and the poinsettia is really fun. You convinced me I made a good choice in ordering that Reason for the Season bundle last week. Thanks for sharing your creative process and it's results. :DReplyDelete
Thanks, Jean! As you know the process was interesting. All I can say is, it was a day.Delete
Marsha, I really love Happy Scenes card. One of my favorite sets in the Holiday Catalog. Your poinsettia card is wonderful.ReplyDelete
Thanks, Marie! It is becoming a favorite and I'm sure I'll use it many times. It is so versatile.Delete

Thanks, Christine! I love black and white and think it makes for an elegant combination. I had seen a cardinal out my window and thought a spot of red on the card would be just the thing.Delete
Love the wreath and scene card. Your poinsettia card has a wonderful selection of colours. Beautiful!ReplyDelete
Thanks, Bev! For all the problems I had getting projects made and the post finished, I'm surprised any of them turned out as well as they did. :-)Delete
It was totally worth waiting for, Marsha - your poinsettia card is beautiful! Of course, so are the first two!ReplyDelete
Thanks, Kathe! I think the Reason for the Season stamp set and Festive Flower Builder Punch are going to be favorites of mine for this Christmas season.Delete
Marsha, I love your poinsettia card!! I wouldn't have ever thought to make one with white leaves, but I love it! Great cards!ReplyDelete
Thanks, Debbie! I've seen some very pretty white poinsettias with red and was trying for that look. With all the problems I had with making it, I'm surprised it came out as well as it did. :-)Delete
Hi Marsha, thanks so much for continuing to be part of this terrific blog hop. Very Vanilla or Whisper White, that wondrous wreath card is a winner. I agree with you about enjoying the scenes one can make through that window framelit. Your outdoor scene is just perfect. Love the little cardinal! I've just ordered the Reason for the Season bundle and your card makes me glad I did. I love the 3-D effect of that wonderful poinsettia. Keeping it white with red veining was brilliant.ReplyDelete
Thanks, Heidi! I love being part of the blog hops. It's a great way to stay creative. You're going to love that Reason for the Season. :-)Delete
Lovely cards, but I like the Joy card best. Just a nice layout for those two images.ReplyDelete
Thanks, Jackie! It was a fun card to put together.Delete
Black & white with a pop of red-perfect.ReplyDelete
