Perfect Plum Rose

Today finds me combating the rainy day blues with time spent in my craft studio.  What better way to pass the time as my little corner of the world gets a much need drink of water.

The Stampin' Royalty color challenge and the CAS(E) this Sketch! challenge combined beautifully for this simple but elegant wedding card.

The card base is Whisper White as is the layer that was cut to highlight the elements of the sketch.  I sponged just on the edges of each piece with Perfect Plum ink to give the layer some definition.  The Perfect Plum rose was cut using the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies.  On a scrap piece of Whisper White, I stamped the label outline in Wild Wasabi ink.  Then, I stamped the sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set using Perfect Plum ink.  The label was cut using the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies and popped up with Dimensionals.  I added three gold rhinestones to finish off the card.

The sketch I used is from CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge.  For all the challenge details, click the image below.
