WWC166 - Kath's Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge

This week Kath is hosting our Masculine "Anything Goes" challenge at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  I had some fun with my oxide inks making a pretty background for my hot air balloons.  Before I added the inks, I stamped the background with VersaMark Watermark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder.  I colored the balloons with my Prismacolor colored pencils and Gamsol, then fussy cute them out and added them to the card front.  The finishing touch was adding a few Sugar Cube Enamel Dots in the shape of stars.

Stamp Sets:  Stitched Scenes 2, Twinkle Twinkle Background (Taylored Expressions)
Ink:  Oreo (Taylored Expressions), VersaMark Watermark Ink
Distress Oxide Inks:  Black Soot, Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet, Faded Jeans (Tim Holtz)
Prismacolor Colored Pencils:  30% Cool Grey, White, Violet Blue, Orange, Violet, Mulberry, Hot Pink, Process Red, Apple Green, Jasmine, Grass Green
Cardstock:  Mixed Media Paper Vellum Surface (Strathmore), Sugar Cube, Shimmer White (Taylored Expressions)
Dies:  Stars Framelits Dies (Stampin' Up!)
Other:  Sugar Cube Enamel Dots (Taylored Expressions)

  2. Such a great use of colours, Marsha. My grandson is a great one for pinks, too, and would be delighted with this creation.
