WWC218 - Marsha's "All About Occasions" Challenge

Today's Watercooler Wednesday Challenge is "All About Occasions."  I'm for host for this week and I invite you all to share a new card  you've created for a special occasion.

The leaf frame was actually used as a stencil but I liked it so well that I finished sponging color on it and used it to frame this pretty bird.  Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink turns out to be much brighter than I remembered but I do love the way it helps that little bird stand out on his branch.

As you can see, there is no sentiment attached.  I couldn't decide on one so I'll wait until the occasion arises before adding one to the card.  I have several made up that don't have a sentiment just for that reason.  That way, if I'm needing one and don't have time to make a new one, I can always pick one that's already to use.

Stamp Set:  Birds of a Feather (Altenew)
Inks:  Vanilla Cream, Hazelnut, Almond Butter (Altenew); Distress Oxide Salty Ocean (Tim Holtz)
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Early Espresso (Stampin' Up!)
Patterned Paper:  Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper (Stampin' Up!)
Dies:  Birds of a Feather Die, Leaf Frame Cover Die (Altenew)
Other:  Crystal Clear Droplets (Ellen Hutson)
