A First Christmas

When I first saw the new stamp set, First Christmas, in the Holiday Catalog, I fell in love with it.  It has proven to be one that I've used many times.  Another stamp set that I instantly fell in love with was Everything Eleanor.  I love that swirl!  Here is the design I made using the two together and doing a little masking.

I didn't do a very good job of stamping the image.  Some days are just better than others.  :-)

Now I'm off on  shopping expedition with a three year old.  It should prove to be interesting.  I've not shopped with a wee person in tow in a very long time.

First Christmas

This is the second card I made for my upline's swap.  The Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack was fun to use and it makes adding an outline to a punch out so easy.  There is also a line you can punch out that is on the inside of the Decorative Label Punch out.  To see another example, take a look at page 181in the Annual Catalog or turn to page 30 in the Holiday Catalog to see the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack.  I like that they coordinate with our punches and framelits.

Now it's time for me to design and prepare the cards that we'll be making on Monday night.  It's a Birthday Extravaganza.  Busy days are ahead as classes fill up and Craft Shows take place nearly every weekend.  Fun, fun, fun!
