Daring Adventure Graduation

With this week so full of birthdays, I needed a short break from birthday cards so I decided to create a graduation card.  I know, it's only January, but it never hurts to think ahead. Daring Adventure jumped out at me and said, "use me!"  It's found on page 145 in the Idea Book & Catalog.  It quotes one of those people I most admire, Helen Keller.  She overcame great obstacles and what better way to let your graduate know that a whole new world awaits them.

Stamp Sets:  Daring Adventure, Teeny Tiny Wishes; Ink:  Soft Suede; Card Stock:  Naturals White, Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, Calypso Coral, Soft Suede; Accessories:  Boho Blossoms Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, Jewels Basic Pearls, White Baker's Twine, Stampin' Dimensionals

The quote from Helen Keller, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing," is stamped on the inside of the card.  Because I hand stitched the zigzag on the front of the card, the ugly part of the stitching was visible when the card was opened.  To cover it up, I attached a matching piece of the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Now it's on to more Valentine cards.  I have some really cute 3 x 3 cards I'm making and I'll share those at a later time.

Until we meet again...
