Wouldn't you know that when the sun is shining bright and the sky is amazingly blue, I make a card that looks cloudy and rainy? I know, but at least the cloudy is on the card and not out my window. I had never tried the
Polished Stone technique and while I didn't have the cotton balls (I used q-tips) and it is not exactly like the directions stated, I think it turned out rather well. I can't wait until I do have the cotton balls to be able to give more color to it. I did use
Island Indigo and
Pool Party re-inkers but it is a bit hard to see that. Yes, the cotton balls are on my current shopping list.

There is no sentiment stamped on it as of yet. I'm not sure what I want it to say. It will either be a get well, thinking of you or possibly a sympathy card. It will more than likely have some other dimension added to it before I'm fully done with it. For now, it was simply to try a
technique I'd not used before.
