Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #150 - Heidi's Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge

This week Heidi is hosting our Masculine "Anything Goes" challenge over at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.  Even guys like a bright, colorful card, right?  And, as promised, this is the last card I have to share from the Taylored Expressions Stamp Joy 2017 event.

Two of the things we got in our bag of goodies was the Bubble Greetings stamp set and a set of the Boxed In Basics panels that, as you can see, are the perfect fit for a layer on a card base.  I've been working on a set of cards using these panels and I'll be sharing those with you at a future time.

Stamp Set:  Bubble Greetings; Ink:  Oreo; Copic Sketch Markers:  BG15, R27, Y35, YG13, YR14, V17; Cardstock:  Cherry Pop; Other:  Boxed In Basics, Candy Corn Enamel Shapes, Cherry Pop Enamel Shapes, Cookie Monster Enamel Shapes, Granny Smith Enamel Shapes, Jelly Donut Enamel Shapes, Lemon Meringue Enamel Shapes

For all the challenge details and to share your project, visit the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge by clicking the image below.  We’d love to have you join us.  You have until Monday, December 25 at 6:00 p.m. Central Time to link up your project.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #134 - "Anything Goes"

Hooray!  It's an "Anything Goes" challenge at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge which means it's the fifth Wednesday of the month.  I'm so glad we have this challenge in our line-up.  It gives me the change to share some of the things I work on that might otherwise never make it to my blog.

This is a card I did in my Distress Oxide Inks class at Taylored Expressions.  Don't those butterflies just seem like they are going to fly right off the card?  The colors are so vibrant and you don't always have to use water with the inks.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenges #87

It's Masculine challenge week here at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges.  Kath is hosting and it's an "anything goes" kind of card.  I love making "anything goes" projects.  No specific direction; you are free to let your mind take you where it will when creating.  For my card, I chose to use a retired stamp set, The Open Sea.  It is one of my favorites and it works well for a masculine card.  Since I have my three sons' birthdays coming up over the next few months, it was a perfect time to design a card for one of them.

Stamp Sets:  Sprinkles of Life (sentiment), The Open Sea (retired); Inks:  Crumb Cake, Island Indigo; Cardstock:  Crumb Cake, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Whisper White; Other:  Linen Thread, Seaside Embossing Folder
