Summer on The Open Sea

Today would be a rather cool day to go sailing unless you wore your parka!  Yes, the weather is that cool here in Iowa.  It's cloudy, breezy and only 67 degrees.  We are usually in the high 80s at this time of the year.  I guess I can blame it on the Polar Vortex, right? At least the card I made for the Friday Mashup Challenge "summer" theme let me enjoy sailing in the comfort of my craft studio.  What doesn't show up well in the photo, is the sparkly from the shimmer mist.  It looks like sun crystals when the light hits it.

  1. Lovely sea scene you've created! 67 is hot to me, and the 80's are even worse LOL At 67 I'd love to be on the water with a nice cool breeze, which is what you're lovely card makes me think of!

Thanks for playing along with us at The Friday Mashup!
