Eat Cake

Oh, the weather outside has been frightful so what do I do, I stay inside where it's warm and craft to my hearts' content.  It also helps to be retired and not have to worry about getting to work.

Today's card was made for the Fab Friday Challenge.  It's been a while since I've played along with this challenge and loved the sketch they had for this time around.  I'm thinking of making a set of these for one of the Christmas gifts I need.  And, it fit the Just Us Girls Wild Card Week-Anything Goes.

On a Blackberry Bliss card base I added a layer of the pretty Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.  I already had the sentiment strips in my stash and I added them using foam tape for some dimension.  For the finishing touch, I added some Iridescent Gems.

Stamp(s):  Simple Strips-Birthday (Taylored Expressons)
Ink(s):  Jet Black (Altenew)
Cardstock:  Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White (Stampin' Up!)
Patterned Paper:  Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper (Stampin' Up!)
Dies:  Simple Strips Die (Taylored Expressions)
Other:  Iridescent Gems

I've entered my card in the following challenges:
