Yesterday I mentioned that I was no longer a Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator. In March, I applied and was hired on at Archiver's. It is Archiver's policy that you cannot be involved with any other similar business so I resigned from Stampin' Up!® While I miss being a demonstrator, I do love working at Archiver's. As I showed you a few posts back, I still get to have fun creating even at work. Today, I'm sharing a photo of my Assistant Manager, Karen. After I took a picture of the frame I made at work, I walked up to the checkout counter and simply to her to smile. This is the great photo I got. Karen graciously gave me permission to post this to my blog. She is a peach!
If you're ever in the Jordan Creek area, stop in and visit the store. It's a great place for inspiration and supplies. And, be sure to check out the new Memory Lab. To find out more about it, go to http://www.archiversonline.com/pages/archivers-memory-lab.

Hangin' With My Gnomies
Yesterday was my granddaughter, Charissa's, birthday. I sent her a card but didn't take a picture of it before putting it in the envelope and mailing it. Once she gets it, Wayne, my oldest son and her stepfather, is supposed to take a picture of it so I can show you the card I made her.
In the meantime, I've got a card that was just plain fun to make. Our Gnome Sweet Gnome Stamp Set is really growing on me and the possibilities are limitless. Along with the Gnomenclature Stamp Set, you have the perfect pair.
Stamp Sets: Gnome Sweet Gnome, Gnomenclature; Inks: Early Espresso, Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker, Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Write Marker, Island Indigo Stampin' Write Marker, StazOn Forest Green, StazOn Timber Brown; Card Stock: Early Espresso, Pool Party, Naturals White; Accessories & Tools: Linen Thread, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Jewels Basic Rhinestones (colored with permanent marker)
Although you can't see it in the photo, the Linen Thread extends beyond the top of the card about two inches. I guess I thought it looked more like hanging with the extension. I'm not exactly sure why.
Until we meet again...

I {Heart} Hearts
It's been a hectic couple of days so I've not been at the craft table much. Today is proving to be another very busy one and to add to the mix, I've invited guests for supper tonight. Now I need to get to the grocery store for what I need that I don't have on hand. Chili and johnny cake are on the menu and it will sure taste good on this frigid Iowa day!
So, I'm going to keep this short and sweet. The card I'm sharing today is one I designed for my very first Workshop. I got a little daring and thought I'd show them my stuff by making a tri-fold card. Everyone had a fun time making it.
Stamp Set: I {Heart} Hearts; Ink: Real Red; Card Stock: Real Red, Whisper White, Brights Designer Series Paper; Accessories: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stamping Sponge
Some got very creative with their version and the laughter reigned supreme all through the Workshop. With Sale-A-Bration just around the corner, you'll want to be sure to schedule your own soon. Contact me for all the great benefits of being a hostess.

Raining Flowers
Technically, here in Iowa, it is snowing snowflakes and it's cold. I'd rather have flowers. As promised, it is now Raining Flowers. This is a two-step stamp set and so much fun to use. I have some other ideas but suddenly have several orders that need to take priority over my just sitting down and having fun creating. So, without further fanfare, here is the card I designed using the Raining Flowers stamp set.
Stamp Sets: Raining Flowers, My Friend; Inks: Real Red, Whisper White Craft; Card Stock: Real Red, Crumb Cake, Whisper White; Accessories: Real Red Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (Retired), Jewels Basic Rhinestones, Stampin' Dimensionals
You only have a few short weeks to get those favorite products from the Holiday Mini Catalog. January 3rd is the last day you can place your order. At this time, I don't know what will carry over so don't lose out on that one must have item. To place an order, click the order button in the top right sidebar.
Blessings from Marsha

Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps!
This easy-to-use cookie stamp has a solid wood handle with three interchangeable stamp images: a heart, a jack-o-lantern, and a snowflake. Make your favorite shortbread cookie dough or use one of the two recipes that are included with the stamp set. You'll also get some tips for use. Create beautiful, hand-stamped cookies in a flash. The stamp images are completely food-safe and child-friendly.
You can purchase this adorable, easy-to-use cookie stamp from October 1, 2011 to January 3, 2012. I'll be posting additional information at the end of September.

Just One More Day
This week has been a whirlwind of activity. I feel like I've met myself coming and going several times. :-) The final preparations for this Saturday's Open House are nearly done. Our Make 'n Take is ready, a special Door Prize package is just waiting to go home with the lucky recipient and everyone gets a free gift. Fun, food and fellowship. What could be better?
I don't have a new card design to show you at this time. As you can imagine, my focus has been on the Open House. I decided to share one of my Photo Transfer Canvases with you. This is another of the projects I love to create. This was taken right outside my door last winter. The fog was thick the night before and when I woke, the trees were covered with frozen fog. It was so beautiful. Although the actual photo is in color, my love for black and white made these the perfect pictures for this technique.
Leave a comment letting me know what you think? I always enjoy hearing from you.
