Petal Potpourri Birthday

Today is the first time I've had a chance to play with some of my new stamps that came in my order this week.  I fell in love with the Petal Potpourri Stamp Set and the new Flower Medallion Punch in the Occasions Catalog and just had to have them.

The weather here has turned cold again so I spent most of my day in the craft studio making pretty cards.  There is nothing like a flower to make one think of Spring; a most welcome thought!  It also made for a very pretty birthday card, don't you think?

Stamp Sets:  Butterfly Basics (sentiment), Petal Potpourri (flower); Inks:  Smoky Slate (sentiment), Strawberry Slush (flower); Card Stock:  Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate, Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper Stack, Whisper White; Accessories & Tools:  Flower Medallion Punch, Pearl Basic Jewels, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

The sketch I used is from The Paper Players Challenge.
