Pretty Little Red Bird

Just have time for another quick post.  I'm busy making up 35 swap cards all of which need to be done by Wednesday.  Oh, and don't forget the Watercooler Blog Hop on Thursday with three projects.  Would you say I'm spending a lot of time in my craft studio?  I am so thankful the sunshine is streaming through my window.

Today's card was made using the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and the colors from C.A.S. Colours & Sketches Challenge.  It's a new challenge for me but I love the colors they featured.

Stamp Sets:  Hardwood, Punch Potpourri (retired), Teeny Tiny Wishes; Inks:  Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake; Card Stock:  Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake; Accessories & Tools:  Bird Builder Punch, Circle Framelits Dies, Modern Label Punch, Onyx Pearl Liquid Pearls (Ranger), Pearl Basic Jewels (colored with a black sharpie), Glue Dots, SNAIL Adhesive, Dimensionals
All Stampin' Up!® product unless otherwise noted.

Here is the sketch I used from Freshly Made Sketches.

  8. How fun - we both combined the CC&S colors with the FMS sketch, *and* used a bird theme! :) I like how you've incorporated the woodgrain background stamp and the little flowers. It's a lovely card! Thanks so much for sharing it with us at CC&S. I hope you'll join us again soon for another challenge.
